Your adventure begins with an early 4:00 AM hotel pick-up from Cebu City or Moalboal. From there, we will travel for approximately 2 hours to Mantalongon, Dalaguete, where Osmeña Peak, the highest point in Cebu, is located.
Upon arrival, a local guide will assist you during the hike to the summit. The trek is short and scenic, and once at the top you can enjoy the breathtaking views of Cebu’s unique jagged hills and surrounding islands. Sunrise viewing here can sometimes depend on the weather, as mornings may be cloudy or foggy. However, during the summer months from April to August, the chances of seeing a beautiful sunrise are much higher. You will have about an hour to explore the area, take photos, and enjoy the mountain scenery.
After the hike, we will proceed to Badian for the Kawasan Falls Canyoneering adventure, which is about a 45-minute drive from Osmeña Peak. Upon arrival at the base camp, our professional canyoneering guides will welcome you and help prepare your safety gear including helmet, life vest, and canyoneering shoes.
From the base camp, we will take a 15-minute drive to the orientation area, where a short 5-minute safety briefing will be conducted. From there, you will have the option to take the zipline instead of walking to the first jump, adding an extra thrill to the start of your adventure.
The canyoneering activity lasts around 3 to 4 hours, where you will experience an exciting journey through rivers, waterfalls, and natural rock formations. Along the way, you will jump from cliffs, slide down smooth rock formations, swim through crystal-clear waters, and trek through the beautiful canyon surrounded by lush tropical scenery. This is one of Cebu’s most thrilling and unforgettable adventures.
At the end of the canyoneering route, you will arrive at the famous Kawasan Falls, known for its stunning turquoise-blue water. Here, you can relax, swim, and take photos before heading back to the base camp.
Once back at the base camp, a well-deserved lunch will be served. After lunch, you can freshen up and prepare for the return trip to the city. The drive back to Cebu City takes approximately 3 to 4 hours, depending on traffic conditions.
