What you can expect

  • Depart from the heart of Catania (Via Vittorio Emanuele 155, a few steps from the Duomo) aboard a panoramic open-top bus and immerse yourself in the charm of the Ionian Coast: the wind in your hair, the scent of the sea, and a spectacular view of Mount Etna. Admire the imposing Arab-Norman Castle of Aci Castello, suspended on black lava rocks, and head to Acitrezza, the fishing village celebrated by Giovanni Verga in his novel I Malavoglia. Here you can admire the majestic Faraglioni dei Ciclopi, the rocks that, according to the Odyssey, the giant Polyphemus hurled at Ulysses. Amid history, myth, and breathtaking landscapes, this tour is the most exciting way to discover the true essence of Sicily.
