Two-and-a-half-hour off-road tour, all in a 4x4 off-road vehicle
The tour allows you to discover active quarries in operation, passing through the three marble basins of Colonnata, Miseglia and Torano, better known as “Michelangelo's Valley”.
The experience includes a visit to open-air quarries and admission to the evocative and magnificent “Fossa degli Angeli” (Pit of the Angels), a majestic hidden temple with multiple levels, unique of its kind.
First stop for explanations of the various methods of marble extraction and processing, using work tools and images.
Time available at the various sites for photos.
The tour includes a small tasting of the famous Lardo di Colonnata.
Two departures per day, morning and afternoon.
