Know before you book

  • Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries

  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • It is strongly recommended that you arrive at 9:00am to allow time for fitting rentals prior to Snow School check-in at 10:20am - better yet, get fitted the day before at our Wanaka or Queenstown off-mountain locations.
  • Once you have all your gear, meet on snow for you lesson from 10:20am with lessons starting at 10:30am
  • The tour operates in all weather conditions, while snow jacket and pants are included, please still dress appropriately.
  • Cardrona is an alpine ski resort just outside Queenstown and is reached by a 14-kilometer mountain road, self-drivers must carry chains or park at Pines carpark and catch our free mountain shuttle.

This all-in-one option includes full-day group lessons with an experienced instructor, an all-mountain lift pass, rental equipment and clothing and accessories. It’s ideal for anyone who has tried skiing or snowboarding at least once before, right through to confident riders looking to refine their technique. Lessons are available for both kids and adults and run across a range of ability levels, so you’ll be learning with others at a similar stage. With everything included, you’re fully kitted out and ready to enjoy a seamless day on the snow.
