The Cape Winelands are about much more than wine. They are about history, landscapes, local stories, and taking the time to enjoy some of the most beautiful parts of the Western Cape.
This experience takes you through Franschhoek and Stellenbosch, two of South Africa’s most celebrated wine regions. Along the way, you’ll visit carefully selected wine estates, enjoy premium tastings, and experience the unique character that makes each estate different.
We begin in Franschhoek, often referred to as the French Corner of the Cape. Surrounded by mountains and vineyards, the village offers a relaxed atmosphere with boutique shops, galleries, and beautiful streets perfect for exploring.
From there, we head to Tokara Wine Estate, where exceptional wines are paired with sweeping views across the Stellenbosch Valley. We then continue into Stellenbosch, where oak-lined streets, Cape Dutch architecture, and local heritage create one of the country’s most iconic wine destinations.
A tasting at historic Muratie Wine Estate offers a glimpse into centuries of winemaking tradition before we enjoy a leisurely lunch at Delheim Wine Estate.
The day concludes with a tasting at Kanonkop, one of South Africa’s most respected wine producers and internationally recognised for its exceptional red wines and Pinotage.
Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or simply looking for a relaxed day in the Winelands, this experience offers the perfect combination of scenery, culture, food, and wine.
This experience is designed to be relaxed and enjoyable. We include regular opportunities for photos, exploring the estates, and taking in the scenery. We will be visiting different wine farms around Stellenbosch and near the Franschoek area.
If you’re looking to experience some of the Cape’s most celebrated wine estates while enjoying incredible scenery, local stories, and great food, this is the perfect Winelands day out.
