Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog)
Enter one of Britain’s most beautiful national parks. Wide uplands, waterfalls and open ridges define this mountain chapter, with classic Welsh scenery and rewarding walking routes.

The Cambrian Mountains & Elan Valley
Cross the quiet heart of Wales — vast reservoirs, empty roads and huge skies create a powerful sense of space. This is one of the least populated and most atmospheric regions in Britain.

Snowdonia (Eryri) & Conwy
The final stage rises into the high peaks and slate landscapes of north Wales. Market towns such as Machynlleth and Dolgellau lead toward Betws-y-Coed and Blaenau Ffestiniog before finishing in Conwy, one of Europe’s finest walled towns.
