What you can expect
An Ancestral Immersion: Cocoa, History, and Well-Being
Your adventure begins on the hidden trails of our cocoa plantation, where the rainforest comes alive. Accompanied by an expert from the National Federation of Cocoa Growers, you will discover the science and art behind the different types of cocoa, learning to distinguish their aromas and the pods directly from the tree.
As we progress, the trail reveals the majesty of ancient Indigenous terraces, linking the cultivation of cocoa to the archaeological legacy of the Sierra Nevadas. Under the professional guidance of your guide, you will experience the technical process of harvesting and processing the cocoa beans, gaining an understanding of why this fruit is sacred.
The climax of the experience is a ritual of manual alchemy: you will personally transform the roasted beans. You can choose between preparing a cup of pure cocoa using traditional recipes or creating a natural face mask to harness its antioxidant benefits for your skin. This is a unique opportunity to connect with history, learn from the best, and take home the spirit of the mountains through a sensory experience you won't find anywhere else.
