What you can expect

Although a relatively young settlement (approximately 600 years) and at the crossroad of several cultural influences,
Bucharest doesn't cease to surprise the new arrival with its hues. Bustling and chaotic, colorful and austere, modern and decay make and intriguing mix that can only be understood with local help.

We start in its birthplace with the auberges, taverns and bookstores. A short glimpse at the 1980s with their utopian architecture.
On to the financial district and its end of the century architecture. Continue to the central crossroad of the University. Revolution, National Art Gallery, the concert hall of the Atheneum.

We end with a metro ride to King Michael Park, Triumphal Arch, Palace of Free Press and Village Museum. Quick lunch/ snack break in between. Long and fruitful day. Highly flexible and customizable.
