- This is a guided road and ferry tour in an air-conditioned bus. It is not a cruise or boat tour.
- Departs Hobart at 7am. Returns approximately 5:00 to 5:30pm.
- Your specific pickup time and location is confirmed after booking. Pickup from locations other than the main Hobart meeting point may be earlier than 7am.
- Bring a small day bag or backpack. Suitcases and large bags cannot be accommodated on the bus.
- Bruny Island is often cooler than Hobart. Bring warm layers and a rain jacket even in summer.
- Wear comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes.
- Due to safety regulations, children under 5 years old cannot climb the Cape Bruny Lighthouse stairs but can walk around the base inside.
- Bring a reusable water bottle. Water is available on the bus for refills throughout the day.
- Dietary requirements and food allergies must be noted at time of booking. Gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options available at lunch. Gluten-free biscuits available at morning tea.
- Children under 5 cannot climb Cape Bruny Lighthouse stairs. They may visit the museum and walk outside the base under adult supervision.
- Contact the operator before booking for infants under 12 months.
- Maximum 20 guests per tour bus.
- Start and finish times are approximate and subject to change.

Pickup from your selected Hobart hotel or nearby meeting point. Over 20 locations available across Hobart, including CBD, North Hobart and Sandy Bay, plus Kettering and Bruny Island. Departure is at 7am from the main Hobart meeting point. Pickup from other locations may be earlier.

SeaLink Bruny Island Ferry

Two Tree Point

Pause at historic Resolution Creek, where early European explorers replenished fresh water supplies and gathered local timber to repair their ships, creating a key gathering site for early encounters with Bruny Island’s First Nations people.

Resolution Creek

Indulge in a seaside morning tea at historic Resolution Creek, where early explorers once anchored. Savour freshly shucked Get Shucked oysters, fresh-baked bread, and local Bruny Island cheeses alongside hot tea, coffee, or hot chocolate while soaking in the coastal history and views. Take a walk along the pristine white beach while your guide prepares morning tea.

Adventure Bay

Drive through Adventure Bay township to spot the rare Bruny Island white wallaby, a unique local wildlife sight frequently spotted on most days.

Mount Mangana Forest Reserve

Take a scenic drive through the lush temperate rainforest on the slopes of Mount Mangana. Your guide will point out native flora like Myrtle, Sassafras, Blackwoods, and the Tasmanian Pepperberry Bush—often pulling over to gather fresh leaves and berries for you to smell and taste!
