Discover Bronte’s “green gold” on a DOSicily-guided pistachio experience that blends volcanic landscapes, centuries-old trees, and a signature Etna Train photo moment.
Your visit begins with check-in and registration at the DOSicily Store on Via Messina 192 in Bronte, followed by a short introductory briefing about the Etna area and how the day will run.

After the briefing, you’ll travel using your own vehicle for a short drive (around 5 minutes) to the DOSicily estate, located at approximately 900 meters above sea level on the borders of Mount Etna Park.
Here, step into family pistachio groves rooted directly into black lava rock and learn how these ancient and centuries-old trees have thrived for generations in volcanic stone.

During the guided walk, you can choose between two different trails:

• La Grotta del Nonno, a comfortable route rich in local tradition, or
• La Cresta del Serpente, a wilder option with striking views. Both lead toward a panoramic area where the historic Circumetnea railway crosses the property.
  In complete safety, you’ll have time for photos as the Etna Train passes through the dramatic contrast of lava, pistachios, and mountain landscape.

  End back at the DOSicily Store for a free, guided sensory Pistachio Experience in an air-conditioned setting. Taste typical Sicilian products and drinks, then browse optional purchases of the products you tried before heading out.
  We wish to emphasize that our tastings are conducted in full compliance with HACCP health and hygiene regulations. Tastings take place in a clean, sanitized, and air-conditioned environment that remains pleasantly cool during the summer.
  Our tastings are certified and authorized in full compliance with health standards, ensuring a luxurious and comfortable experience for our guests.
  We do not conduct impromptu outdoor tastings.
