If you want to see the majestic of Bromo in the middle of the night, you can tour it during the night. You'll drive from Surabaya to Sukapura village (Bromo Area) in the middle of the night. Upon arriving at Sukapura, you'll head to Mt. Penanjakan to see the sunrise over Bromo. There's no better place to watch the Bromo sunrise than Mount Penanjakan.

When you drive down the hill, you'll see a huge sand sea. On the crater rim, you can see Bromo's active crater, caldera, and Mt. Batok and Mt. Semeru as Java's highest mountains. As well as the Hindu temple, you can see the history of the Majapahit Kingdom. Finished with breakfast at a local restaurant, we're back in Surabaya.
