In our workshop located in the center of Bordeaux, come and discover the art of tasting and pairing food & wine, in a friendly and fun atmosphere.
After an introduction to Bordeaux wines & terroirs, and the stages of tasting, our sommelier will introduce you to the 3 main principles for successful food and wine pairings.
During this workshop, you'll taste
- 3 great Bordeaux wines: a dry white, a red, and a sweet one
- sturgeon pâté with French caviar
- artisan dried duck breast
- farmhouse blue cheese
Each pairing will be an opportunity to talk about the products tasted, their history, and the reasons why we suggest each combination. We've specially selected local artisanal dishes and fine wines for interesting pairings.
Let yourself be surprised by the alchemy that can occur between the dish and the wine. Because beyond the general principles, a good pairing involves a bit of curiosity, even audacity, and must allow each element to be sublimated individually while creating harmony.
