What you can expect

Begin your adventure with a pickup from Bishkek and head to the Ala-Archa Nature Reserve. Arrive at the starting point of the route and begin your hike to the Racek Hut.

Enjoy a lunch break at the Racek Hut near the Ak-Sai Glacier at an altitude of 3,300 meters above sea level. Continue your hike to the glacier and Lake Uchitel.

Reach the Uchitel Glacier and Lake (3,550 m). See the gigantic crevasses of the Ak-Sai Glacier and a beautiful lake born from eternal ice.

In one day, travel from dense spruce forests and the famous “Broken Heart” stone, through the roaring Ak-Sai waterfall, to harsh moraines and cliffs where the air rings with purity.

Take in breathtaking views of Crown Peak, Free Korea Peak, and many other peaks. The sheer walls of these mountains will inspire awe even among seasoned climbers.

After your hike, return to the parking lot and drive back to Bishkek.
