What you can expect

Begin your evening at a local coffee farm, where a Costa Rican family will welcome you and share their coffee traditions. Walk through the plantation and learn how coffee is grown, harvested, and processed from bean to cup. Discover sustainable farming practices, local culture, and enjoy the rich aroma and flavor of freshly brewed Costa Rican coffee in a peaceful rural setting.

As the sun begins to set, continue into the nearby rainforest for a guided nature walk. Starting at dusk allows you to see the forest during the transition from day to night. Sloths are commonly seen hanging high in the trees in this area, along with birds and other daytime wildlife settling in for the evening.

When darkness falls, your guide will provide flashlights and lead you deeper into the forest to search for nocturnal animals. Listen to the jungle come alive and look for frogs, insects, reptiles, and other nighttime creatures that are rarely seen during the day. Your guide will help you spot wildlife and explain fascinating details about their behavior and ecosystem.
