I live in this small B&B, on a hill, surrounded by nature, in Cassano delle Murge, between Bari and Matera.
Together, we'll knead and make orecchiette and cavatelli, our typical fresh pasta. You'll be fascinated by the traditional recipes, the stories about how my grandmother made pasta, and what cooking represented in the past and still partly represents. An immersion in real Apulian life and Italian sociology!
Tatiana will probably be there too, my expert friend and collaborator who teaches by gestures and example; she only speaks Italian but will, as always, be able to communicate with her heart and experience. I, on the other hand, will communicate, if necessary, in English, Italian, and French, even simultaneously.
And, once you're home, you'll make your own good food, and you'll treasure the memory of what we've shown you.
The lunch that follows is collaborative: everyone helps, collaborates and, with dishes and pans in their hands, they also invade my home, to my great pleasure because I have many typical objects that tell the story of my beloved Apulia.
The wine and the foods I serve with pasta are all local and mostly from my organic garden; it's a homey, convivial atmosphere.
Team building, anniversaries, and parties are perfect here!
You can reach us by car, by bus from Bari, or ask us for a taxi.
Other things to keep in mind: the activity is outside, and if necessary we will move inside.
