We'll start the activity by picking you up at the Port of Montevideo, near the pier.
Guided tour with a local guide, where we'll explore our city in a comfortable and spacious vehicle that will allow us to travel around town quickly and safely, stopping at each point to learn, take photos, and talk about our history and culture. We'll visit the Ciudad Vieja neighborhood with its Plaza Zabala (named after the founder of Montevideo), Plaza Constitución (Metropolitan Cathedral), and its street vendors. Downtown Montevideo with its Plaza Independencia and monuments. Avenida 18 de Julio, Montevideo's main thoroughfare and shopping area, with its stores, galleries, and architecture that make it so wonderful. Montevideo Panoramic Vantage Point, a place where we'll enjoy a 360-degree view of the city from the 22nd floor, with incredible vistas of Montevideo and the Río de la Plata. If our guests wish, we'll take them to try mate at the oldest bar in downtown Montevideo, and why not pair it with some delicious churros? We'll visit the Montevideo Congress, seat of the Uruguayan Parliament, and the Agricultural Market, where our guests will have about 30 minutes of free time to stroll around, shop, and why not enjoy a craft beer or a delicious coffee? We'll then head to one of the city's most beautiful parks, Parque Batlle y Ordoñez, home to the legendary Estadio Centenario, the first World Cup stadium and venue of the 1930 FIFA World Cup. Another stop on the tour will be the Carrasco neighborhood, a beautiful area of Montevideo considered the city's most exclusive neighborhood for living in houses or mansions, as well as being home to an elegant shopping center and delicious Uruguayan steak restaurants. Finally, we'll take a drive along the Montevideo coastline, where our guests will admire the beautiful Rambla de Montevideo, with its beaches and neighborhoods such as Carrasco (Montevideo's top neighborhood), Pocitos, and Punta Carretas. We'll stop at our MONTEVIDEO sign to take photos of our guests in a prime spot in the city with a beautiful view of the beach. We'll then continue the tour along the entire Rambla until we return to the Port of Montevideo, thus wrapping up a sightseeing tour that will surely meet your expectations.
