Overview

We pick you up from your hotel in Beijing and transfer you to the high-speed railway station. Our staff will guide you to your seat on the bullet train bound for Datong.
Upon arrival at Datong Station, a driver and guide will accompany you throughout the tour to visit Yungang Grottoes and Hanging Temple. You will then be transferred back to the train station and assisted to board the return bullet train. After arriving in Beijing, our driver will take you back to your hotel to conclude the trip.

Suspended on a 60-meter-high cliff face, its ingenious structure and extraordinary design make it an architectural marvel that uniquely integrates Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism. The Datong Ancient City Wall was built in the Ming Dynasty, over 600 years ago. Stretching more than 7 kilometers around, it's tall and wide—a key frontier stronghold in northern China back in the day. Stand on top, and you can see the entire old city of Datong. The view is wide open. After visiting all the attractions for the day, the tour guide will take you to Datong High-Speed Railway Station to board the bullet train to Beijing. Upon arrival in Beijing, staff will take you back to your hotel.
