This is a unique experience of guided tour in Normandy to explore the history of D-Day. During full-day private tour from 9am to 5:30pm with a local guide. The tour consists of a visit in a comfortable 9 seater van and a 1 hour tour in a WWII Willy Jeep .
The program of this tour is as follows: 9:00 am pick-up at your accommodation (around Bayeux) with the van, visit of Sainte Mère Église, 11:00 am board a real jeep willys, for a 1h visit on the Band of Brothers (101st airborne division) sites, 12:30pm - 1:30pm Lunch time in an authentic Normandy village. 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm private tour with the van to La Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach and the Normandy American Cemetery. You will assist the tap ceremony at the cemetery : a unique and moving moment.
