What you can expect

Begin with a pickup from your hotel in Bangkok. Enjoy a comfortable ride to Ayutthaya, the former capital of Siam, rich in history and culture.

Visit the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, a beautifully landscaped royal residence built in the 17th century and later restored by King Rama IV and King Rama V. Stroll through the gardens, admire the royal halls, and learn about the history of Thai kings.

Continue to Wat Mahathat, one of Ayutthaya’s most iconic temples, famous for the sandstone Buddha head entwined in tree roots. Walking through the ruins gives a sense of Ayutthaya’s spiritual heritage.

Next, visit Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon, a grand temple with a towering chedi built to celebrate King Naresuan’s victory over the Burmese in the 16th century. The temple grounds are filled with rows of Buddha statues draped in saffron robes. Climb the chedi for a panoramic view of the complex.

Next to enjoy a scenic long -tail boat ride to explore the three rivers of Ayutthaya, Where history and local life meet.

Enjoy authentic Thai cuisine at a local riverside restaurant. Dishes include Pad Thai, green curry, fried rice, and fresh tropical fruits.

After lunch, visit Wat Phra Si Sanphet, the largest and most important temple of the Ayutthaya Kingdom, once part of the Royal Palace grounds. Its three majestic chedis are iconic symbols of Ayutthaya and served as the model for Bangkok’s Wat Phra Kaew.

Continue to Wat Lokayasutharam, home to Ayutthaya’s largest reclining Buddha image, measuring 37 meters long. The statue, made of brick and covered with stucco, symbolizes the Buddha’s entry into Nirvana.

Finally, visit Wat Chaiwatthanaram, a stunning riverside temple built in 1630 by King Prasat Thong in Khmer style. Its central prang (tower) and surrounding smaller prangs create a breathtaking silhouette at sunset. This temple is one of the most photogenic sites in Ayutthaya.

After a day of exploring Thailand’s ancient capital, relax on your drive back to Bangkok.
