What you can expect
This half-day tour will take you on one of the most scenic rides in the Canadian Rockies. Your tour begins at the Historic Banff Train Station where you will meet your guide and get fitted to your modern, pedal assist comfort e-bike.
First stop is cascade ponds at the foot of Cascade mountain. A perfect spot to have a snack and take in the stunning views where waterfalls 'cascade' down share rock faces of the towering mountain.
Continuing along the Minnewanka loop road next stop is the old ghost town of Bankhead. A bustling town of 1000 residents at the beginning of the 1900's, some of Bankhead's remnants still remain, with old mining equipment and the buildings to explore.
The winding road toward Lake Minnewanka is where bears can often be spotted, chowing down on dandelions' on the roads verges. At Lake Minnewanker, learn about the flooded town, now 50 feet underwater.
The ride toward Two Jack Lake, on the sunny side of the valley is where bighorn sheep like to graze on the steep banks of the roadside and the stunning Two Jack Lake is here the Mt Rundle often reflects the most amazing photographs.
Wildlife is abundant on this entire circuit with sightings of bears, bighorn sheep and elk a regular occurrence.
