The experience begins at the front desk of the Hotel Mar Azul, where we will welcome you before walking with you to the Marina Turistica in Paracas. The walk is short and pleasant, as it's just a few minutes from the hotel. If you arrive with luggage, you can leave it safely in the hotel's storage room during the excursion.
Once at the marina, you'll board a modern and safe vessel to start sailing through Paracas Bay. During the journey, you can see the famous Candelabro geoglyph, an impressive figure engraved on the side of a hill facing the sea.
We'll continue to the Ballestas Islands, home to an extraordinary diversity of wildlife. You'll have the opportunity to observe sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and numerous seabirds in their natural habitat, while our tour guide shares information about the wildlife, history, and importance of this protected ecosystem.
The excursion offers spectacular scenery and excellent photo opportunities. We have daily departures and guides in Spanish, English, and French. At the end of the activity, you can return to the Hotel Mar Azul to pick up your luggage and, if needed, use the restrooms before continuing your journey.
Departure times to the islands: 8 AM - 8:30 AM - 9 AM - 9:30 AM - 10 AM - 10:30 AM - 11 AM. Please be at the meeting point 15 minutes in advance
