What you can expect

Begin your underwater adventure in Amed, Bali, with a comprehensive 3-day PADI Open Water Diver course. This internationally recognized certification is your gateway to exploring the world’s oceans. Designed for beginners and those with some water confidence, the course combines engaging theory sessions, practical confined water skills, and five open water dives at Amed’s vibrant reefs.

On Day 1, meet your instructor and get comfortable with the equipment before learning essential diving skills in a safe, shallow environment. The following days take you to some of Amed’s top dive sites, where you’ll practice buoyancy, navigation, and safety procedures while swimming alongside colorful reef fish, corals, and—if you’re lucky—sea turtles. The course is conducted in small groups of up to four students per instructor, ensuring personalized attention and a supportive learning atmosphere.

Theory modules can be completed online before arrival or in person during the course, making it easy to fit the learning to your schedule. All equipment is included, and daily hotel transfers within Amed are provided for your convenience. After successfully completing the course, you’ll receive your PADI Open Water Diver certification, valid for life and recognized worldwide. The activity concludes back at your accommodation, leaving you ready to explore more of Bali or continue your diving journey.
