Day 1: Airport/Colombo – Sigiriya (Travel Time: 3 ½ hrs)
Arrive at the airport and meet your English-speaking chauffeur guide. Head to Sigiriya for a 2-night stay. Along the way, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple. Spend the night in Sigiriya.
Day 2: Sigiriya
After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Fortress Rock Sigiriya. Enjoy a village tour in Sigiriya. In the afternoon, take a safari jeep to Minneriya National Park, where you can spot hundreds of wild elephants in their natural habitat. Spend the night in Sigiriya.
Day 3: Sigiriya - Kandy (Travel Time: 2 hrs)
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Kandy for an overnight stay. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of the Tooth and witness a cultural dance show in Kandy. Take a walk around the lake. Spend the night in Kandy.
Day 4: Kandy- Nuwara Eliya (Travel Time: 2 hrs)
After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Royal Botanical Garden and drive to Nuwara Eliya for an overnight stay. Along the way, visit the Ramboda Waterfalls, Hanuman Temple, a tea factory, and a tea plantation. Explore the Nuwara Eliya Town and visit Gregory Lake. Spend the night in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 5: Nuwara Eliya- Ella (Travel Time: 2 Hrs)
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Ella for a night stay. Catch a scenic train from Nanu Oya to Ella. Your driver will drop you at Nanu Oya train station and will pick you up from Ella train station. Spend the night in Ella.
Day 6: Ella – Yala (Travel Time: 1 ½ hrs)
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Yala for an overnight stay. Along the way, visit Little Adam’s Peak and Rawana Waterfalls. Check in to your hotel and in the afternoon, take a safari jeep to Yala National Park. Spend the night in Yala.
Day 7: Yala – Your Next Hotel or Beach stay/ Airport
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the down south beach for drop-off. Along the way, visit Mirissa Beach & Coconut Hill, Galle Dutch Fort, Weligama Beach, and Stilt Fisherman.
