Your knowledgeable host will explain the history and meaning behind each movement, helping you understand why the tea ceremony remains one of Japan’s most treasured traditions.

Begin by observing a graceful demonstration of the tea ritual. Then, under gentle guidance, prepare your own bowl of matcha using authentic tea ceremony tools. Learn how to whisk the tea properly and appreciate its flavor the traditional way.
