Day 1: Arusha/Moshi – Lake Natron
Begin your journey with a scenic drive from Arusha or Moshi towards the remote and stunning Lake Natron, near the Kenyan border. Pass through Maasai villages and dramatic landscapes dominated by the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

Upon arrival, check in at your camp or lodge, with time to relax and take in the breathtaking views of the alkaline lake. If time permits, enjoy a guided walk along the lakeshore, where you can see thousands of flamingos and other bird species that thrive in this unique ecosystem.

Day 2: Lake Natron Exploration
After breakfast, set out to explore the wonders of Lake Natron and its surrounding area. Visit the spectacular Engare Sero Waterfalls, a refreshing natural oasis hidden in a gorge. Enjoy a short but adventurous hike to the falls, where you can cool off with a swim.

Later, immerse yourself in Maasai culture with a village visit to learn about their traditions, way of life, and connection to this land. The afternoon is perfect for a guided walk to view the lake’s vibrant birdlife and striking scenery, with Ol Doinyo Lengai the “Mountain of God” towering in the distance.

Day 3: Lake Natron – Arusha/Moshi
Rise early for one last lakeside walk to witness the sunrise casting magical colors over the Rift Valley. After breakfast, begin your drive back to Arusha or Moshi, passing through more breathtaking landscapes and traditional Maasai settlements along the way. Arrive in the afternoon, marking the end of your unforgettable Lake Natron adventure.
