As an experienced art historian (MA and PhD candidate) specialised in Old Masters and 19th century European art and a love for food and wine, I commit my time to sharing stories about art, history, and flavours of the Provence with all passionate enthousiasts. My in-depth knowlegde of European art will make your walk feel more than a tour - it's seeing the city through the eyes of the artists that painted and described its remarkable contours.
ARLES is a charming city in the middle of the Camargue, the largest French wetlands known for their flamboyant flamingos and wild horses. Rich in local traditions such as textile production and bull fighting, the city of Arles is filled with Roman architecture. During this tour you will discover its theatre, baths, and amphitheatre, whilst also walking in the shoes of Vincent van Gogh. Spending his final and most productive years in Arles, you will visit the celebrated scenes of his most famous paintings.
