The route of the Sillar is located to the northeast of the city of Arequipa and it begins in the Quarries of Añashuayco in the district of Cerro Colorado, at the moment it has a length of 2 thousand meters, crossing the quarries of Añashuayco, Cutters and the quarry Virgin of Culebrillas.
This tour is considered a unique proposal where the artisans show us the techniques of extraction of ashlar. Also this work was declared as Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Nation, being very important for the local architecture.

Itinerary:

• We start the tour picking you up at your hotel in Arequipa.
• We will go to Uchumayo and arrive at the ashlar stone quarries for a guided tour.
• Then we will learn about the ancient work of the artisans and the origin of the material.
• We will walk until we reach the Culebrillas Canyon, formed by the passage of water.
• We will also be able to take several pictures and see the petroglyphs.
• At the end of the tour, we will return to the center of Arequipa.
