We will start this tour at our meeting point. Once all passengers are in the vehicle, we will go in the direction of the Mirador de Yanahuara, to be able to take pictures, we will continue to the Route of the Sillar leaving the city towards the Añashuayco Quarry. Here the tour guide will give us a series of explanations about the extraction process of the sillar, stone with which most of the constructions around the main square of Arequipa were made.
Also, we will have access to information about the carving, carving and mega carving carried out by the master stonemasons.
Afterwards, we will go to the Culebrillas ravine, a quarry that is not in exploitation, but we will be able to walk for 20 minutes through a small canyon formed by water erosion.
At the end of the tour, we will see some petroglyphs that we can admire and photograph while our tour guide gives us some explanations. Then, we will return to Arequipa to finish the tour.
