Itinerary
Day 1: Arequipa - Chivay
At 8:00 a.m. we will pick you up at your hotel in Arequipa and head north towards Chivay. During the trip, we will make a brief stop at the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca, where we will meet the vicuñas in their natural environment. It is a marvel!

We will also see the lagoons and wetlands of Tocrapampa and make a stop at the Mirador de los Andes, in Patapampa, to observe the beautiful views of the mountain range.

Finally, we will arrive in Chivay and you will have an hour and a half of free time to have lunch on your own in a local restaurant. After settling in the hotel, we will go to the thermal baths of La Calera, where you can relax in an unforgettable place. Did you know that these waters have medicinal properties?

You will be free to spend the night in Chivay as you wish. For example, you can enjoy on your own a dinner accompanied by a folkloric show.

We will end the day by dropping you off at your hotel in Chivay at 5:00 pm.

Day 2: Chivay - Colca Canyon - Arequipa
After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to the Colca Canyon. Arriving at this beautiful natural site, we will be greeted by the Mirador de la Cruz del Condor, a perfect place to take thousands of pictures and admire the nature of one of the deepest gorges in the world.

Will we be lucky and be able to see the condors flying? Hopefully yes, it is quite a spectacle!

We will not leave the valley without visiting the viewpoints of Wayrapunko, Antahuilque and Choquetico, magical places where we can admire different aspects of the pre-Inca cultures. Then we will stop in the towns of Maca and Yanque, where we will make stops to rest.

We will meet again and return to Chivay, where we will have lunch and then depart to Arequipa. After approximately three hours of travel, we will arrive at your hotel and we will end the excursion at 17:00 hours.

Lodging
The tour includes one night's accommodation in a hostel in Chivay in a double room.

Pick up
Pick up is included in the hotels located within a radius of 1 kilometer from the Plaza de Armas in Arequipa. If your hotel is located outside this area, you will have to go to the meeting point located in the Plaza de Armas at the indicated time.
