    Leave the usual tourist routes behind and discover one of Antigua’s most secluded beaches on the Wilson Castaway 4x4 Adventure to Rendezvous Bay — the only overland tour that takes you all the way to the beach.

    Rendezvous Bay is beautiful precisely because it is so difficult to reach. There are no busy beach clubs, no rows of taxis and no easy paved road leading to the sand.

    The final route becomes steep, rocky and seriously uneven. Ordinary cars and standard taxis simply don’t have the ground clearance needed to negotiate the rocky climbs and descents without risking damage to their bumpers and underbody.

    Even if you take a taxi from the cruise port, it can only take you part of the way. From the usual drop-off area, reaching Rendezvous Bay means approximately 45 minutes of walking each way over hills, dirt tracks and rugged terrain.
