What you can expect
Begin your adventure on the crystal waters of Lake Powell, where red sandstone cliffs rise from the deep blue and sunlight dances across the canyon walls. This guided 4-hour tour takes you paddling through the serene waterways of Antelope Canyon, one of the Southwest’s most photographed natural wonders.
Your journey begins at the Antelope Point Public Launch Ramp, where our friendly guides welcome you with a safety and technique briefing. Once on the water, you’ll glide along calm stretches framed by sculpted cliffs that grow taller and narrower as you approach the mouth of Antelope Canyon. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating insights into the geology, ecology, and cultural history of the region — from ancient seabeds to Navajo heritage and the natural forces that shaped these towering walls.
As the canyon begins to shallow, you’ll beach your kayak and continue on foot. The 1.5-mile round-trip hike leads you deep into the slot canyon, revealing sculpted passages, swirling sandstone textures, and photo-worthy scenes that shift with the light. It’s an immersive experience that brings you face-to-face with the raw artistry of nature.
This tour is designed for all skill levels — whether it’s your first paddle or your fiftieth. Our guides are ACA and WFR certified and trained in local geology and safety, ensuring a secure, educational, and memorable experience. You’ll move at a relaxed pace with plenty of time for photos, rest, and quiet reflection.
Expect about two hours of paddling and two hours of hiking, perfectly balanced for adventure and exploration. The tour typically covers 4–5 miles round trip and is suitable for most fitness levels.
Antelope Canyon is one of nature’s masterpieces — and there’s no better way to experience it than by water. Paddle Express keeps group sizes small for a more personal, peaceful connection with the canyon. Whether you come for the photos, the geology, or simply the magic of floating between glowing walls of stone, you’ll leave with memories that last a lifetime.
