We'll pick you up at your hotel or meet you at Mindo Park. Then, we'll travel 8 kilometers by van from Mindo's central park to the Rio Bravo reserve. There, we'll climb a steep slope for 10 minutes to reach the lek, where over ten male cock-of-the-rock birds gather. They practice their singing and dancing early in the morning to attract females.
Once finished, we'll meet at the reception point for a rustic breakfast by the Nambillo River and the protective forest of the same name. Then, we'll drive about 500 meters to spot toucans, tanagers, and other birds around this area. We'll spend an hour there and finally return to Mindo at 9:30 am, ending one of the best experiences you can have in Mindo.
