This tour starts at the oldest inhabited square, right in the middle of the beautiful city of Amsterdam, dubbed 'Mokum' by locals.
We'll start with a brief explanation of your bike and the traffic rules so we can all travel safely. Book this tour and you'll see Amsterdam with a small family company, rooted in the city. Your guided bike ride will be with the inventor of city bike tours, which makes it unique in it's own way! We always ride at an easy, relaxing pace and start with seeing some magnificent 17th-century houses and buildings along the canals. You'll be challenged to spot the smallest house (yes, we'll reveal!) and learn about the prison that used to be in the middle of the city center.
We'll continue to ride along the Anne Frank House, where we'll dive deeper into her story. Then it's time for some leisurely cycling through the picturesque Jordaan neighborhood, which will eventually lead us to the entertainment area of Leidseplein. This square and it's direct surroudings has a rich history of music, squatting and crime.
After Leidseplein, you will discover the lush and famous Vondelpark, a must-see park that could have a tour if it's own since there are so many stories.
We continue towards Museum square, - what's in a name?- a very museum dense place where your guide will elaborate on the collections and recommend places to visit.
Following the High End P.C. Hooft straat, native to the worlds most luxury fashion brands, we'll ride along antique shops and canals until we reach the iconic Skinny 'Love' Bridge.
We then end with enjoying the beautiful Herengracht and, depending on the route, Dam Square and end our tour right back at our headquarters, close to Central Station.
