The morning begins in Amanohashidate, a famous sandbar covered with pine trees, literally the “bridge to the sky.” A panoramic view from the belvedere, a walk between the sea and the bay: the place exudes a peaceful and almost unreal atmosphere.

In the afternoon, we head to Ine, a village that is unique in Japan, known for its funaya, traditional houseboats built directly on the waterfront. Here, the sea is part of everyday life.
