Amanohashidate Onsen Chie no yu

Amanohashidate, known as “Heaven’s Bridge” and ranked among Japan’s three most scenic views, where a 3.6 km pine-covered sandbar stretches across Miyazu Bay creating a stunning natural landscape. You can walk or cycle along the path, ride the cable car or monorail (JPY 1000, self-paid) up to the observatory for the iconic view, and try the playful tradition of bending down to look at the scenery upside-down through your thighs, which makes the sandbar appear as if it were floating in the sky. Nearby, visit Chionji Temple, famous for its impressive Sanmon gate and its charm as one of the three great wisdom temples of Japan, where students and visitors come to pray for academic success. Lunch is at your own expense, and please note that some attractions may be skipped due to weather or capacity conditions. Please note that the extra time will be cover the transfer from one location to another.

Ine Fishing Village is a picturesque coastal town known for its unique Funaya—traditional wooden boat houses built right at the water’s edge, with the first floor used to store fishing boats and the upper floors serving as living quarters. These houses line the quiet bay in perfect harmony with the sea, creating a scene that feels like stepping back in time. The village is especially romantic in winter when snow covers the rooftops, adding to its tranquil beauty. Travelers can choose to take a boat tour of the bay (JPY 1200 for adults, JPY 600 for children, with optional seagull bait available for JPY 100), offering stunning views of the houses from the water. If boat services are canceled due to wind or waves, the visit will be replaced with a free walking tour along the scenic waterfront. Ferry tickets are not included: Adults JPY1200, Children JPY600. Seagull feed is JPY100 per bag. Please note that the extra time will be cover the transfer from one location to another.
