We'll start at the Ehrwalder cable car parking lot and immediately tackle the first climb to the Ehrwalder Alm. This climb is challenging but doable, and you'll soon be rewarded with your first unobstructed views of the Zugspitze. Along the way, I will keep sharing information about the region, the landscape, and what makes this area so special. After that, we'll continue over a ridge and through peaceful forests to Lake Seebensee. We'll take our time at the turquoise lake. If you like, you can take a quick dip in the water or enjoy a picnic break right on the shore. It's the perfect place to recharge your batteries. Afterward, we'll embark on our second ascent through alpine terrain, accompanied by new vistas of the Zugspitze massif. Once at the top, I will decide with the group whether to make a short detour towards Drachenkopf. Afterward, we will stop at the Coburger Hütte mountain hut and enjoy the views of Drachensee Lake and Seebensee Lake. The leisurely descent back to Ehrwald brings the tour to a close, once again offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
