This tasting aims to provide a simple, professional, and dynamic introduction to distinguishing between different types of salt when choosing this foodstuff and to open up the world of knowledge about this essential mineral. The salts we present: Sea salts, mine salts/gem salts, spring salts, liquid salts. Within each group of salts, we will explore their different characteristics. Among them is the most expensive salt in the world, which comes from Korea.
This World Salt Tasting will present several origins from different geographical areas. It is a pioneering project in the Valencian Community, with great importance in the surrounding salt industry. All this will be complemented by caffeine-free drinks to exchange flavors and a final appetizer in the local style of salted fish and tomatoes with fleur de sel.
