What you can expect

When you arrive at our meeting point, our team will welcome you and provide you with the entry wristbands, as well as the snorkeling gear and life jacket (mandatory). Before you go into the water, your certified guide will explain the basic rules: keep your distance, don't touch the turtles, and respect the protected area.

We'll enter the sea from the beach and swim in areas where green turtles feed on seagrass. We usually see them resting, coming up for air, or swimming calmly. You'll also commonly find tropical fish and part of the reef along the way.

The tour is guided at all times and lasts approximately one hour in the water. When you're done, you can stay on the beach for a while to rest.

We recommend the 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. or 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. times, as there are fewer people and the water is usually clearer.

Important: we're in a protected natural area. You can't touch, feed, or chase turtles. Respecting them is the only way this experience can continue.

If you have a water camera, bring it. Watching a turtle come up for air right in front of you is worth saving.
