These walks reveal an intimate and authentic Sainte-Victoire. With stories about the local heritage, an understanding of the landscape, and a discovery of the Mediterranean flora, each outing reveals a new side of this legendary mountain that so greatly inspired the father of modern art: Paul Cézanne.

For an even more magical experience and to see how the mountain changes color, book a sunset hike.
Participants must be able to walk for about 3 hours. The hike is on rugged, stony terrain that can be slippery in some places. The ascent does not exceed 400 m.
The exact meeting point is communicated a few days before the hike. It is easily accessible from Aix-en-Provence or Marseille by car or public transportation.
Suitable walking or trail shoes are mandatory. Anyone wearing unsuitable shoes may be denied access to the hike.
Bring 1.5 L of water and appropriate clothing for the season: cap, windbreaker, light or warm clothing.
Please note that there are two options available for this hike:
- half-day hike lasting approximately 3.5 hours.
- sunset hike lasting approximately 4 hours and 15 minutes.
For the sunset hike, bring a flashlight for the descent.
