Come and experience an authentic journey into the heart of Molise with a guided tour of the award-winning Caseificio Di Nucci in Agnone. At the start of the tour, you'll discover the importance of the local raw material: milk, selected every day by small local farmers and their beautiful cows.
Wearing a cap and shoe covers, you'll enter the workshop to observe all the stages of production firsthand: from raw milk, added with rennet and natural whey, to curd. You'll watch the artisanal spinning and manual shaping of the cheeses by our expert cheesemakers, following each step: spinning, shaping, cooling, salting, and packaging.
The visit continues in the aging cellar, lined with local stone, where you can admire and smell our renowned Caciocavallo, aged for up to 24 months. You'll end the experience with a guided tasting of five locally produced cheeses, accompanied by Molise water and local bread.
