What you can expect

Start your day with a comfortable departure from Palermo and travel through the Sicilian countryside toward Segesta, one of the most fascinating archaeological sites on the island. Visit the majestic Doric temple, standing alone among the hills, and discover one of the most scenic ancient sites in Sicily. Depending on timing and pace, you may also have the chance to reach the ancient theater, with beautiful views over the surrounding valley.

After Segesta, continue to Erice, a medieval hilltop village overlooking Trapani, the Egadi Islands, and the salt pans below. Walk through its stone streets, admire panoramic viewpoints, explore small craft shops, and enjoy free time for lunch. Erice is also famous for its traditional pastries, especially almond sweets and the iconic genovese ericina, so it is the perfect place for a sweet picnic before the afternoon adventure.

In the afternoon, head toward Marsala and pick up your e-bike for an easy scenic ride toward the Stagnone Lagoon. This a relaxed and panoramic experience designed to enjoy the landscape slowly. Ride through one of the most unique areas of Sicily, between salt pans, windmills, shallow lagoon waters, and white salt basins, in what was described as “the most beautiful cyclopath of the world”

At the end of the e-bike route, leave the bike near the Stagnone area and get ready for a short boat ride through the lagoon. Sail among the salt pans and admire this peaceful natural landscape from the water. The boat ride is the perfect way to experience the lagoon from another perspective before sunset.

After the boat tour, enjoy free time for an optional sunset aperitif by the salt pans. Drinks and food are not included, so you can choose freely what you prefer while enjoying one of the most beautiful sunset spots in Western Sicily.
