Escape the city and discover some of the most beautiful natural and cultural highlights around Skopje on this carefully designed small-group experience.
We meet in front of Espresso Bar “Podvig,” located in the heart of Skopje. This is where our journey begins with our famous Macedonian “Breakfast of Champions” — a traditional pastry prepared in a homemade style by a neighborhood bakery.
While enjoying breakfast at the Caffe & Lounge Bar, every guest can also choose a complimentary coffee or tea. It’s a relaxed and welcoming way to meet your guide and fellow travelers before setting off — because every journey is better on a full stomach! Make sure to arrive hungry; we’ll take care of the rest. :)
After breakfast, we leave Skopje and head directly to Matka Canyon. We intentionally arrive early, before the biggest crowds, so you can experience the canyon’s peaceful atmosphere, crystal-clear waters, and spectacular scenery in a more relaxed and authentic way.
At Matka Canyon, you’ll walk along the scenic paths and have free time to explore the area. You can also choose to take a peaceful boat ride through the canyon and visit the famous Vrelo Cave, considered one of the deepest underwater caves in the world, or explore the canyon by kayak.
The journey then continues to the beautiful Church of St. Panteleimon, a remarkable 12th-century Byzantine church known for its unique frescoes, fascinating history, and peaceful surroundings.
To finish the experience, we head to Mount Vodno and take the cable car up to the iconic Millennium Cross, where spectacular panoramic views over Skopje and the surrounding mountains await.
We intentionally keep our groups small to create a more personal, comfortable, and interactive experience where guests never feel rushed or overcrowded.
