After we pick you up from the airport or your hotel, we will warmly welcome you with greetings and drive to show you the famous market Shola, where thousands of people sell their own products every day. In this market, you won't miss anything. On our way before we arrive at our cooking class, we will explore the city of Addis. During our exploration, we will visit the National Museum of Ethiopia, where you will see the famous Lucy. Then, we will arrive at the home for the cooking class.

This cooking class takes you to an Ethiopian local home kitchen where you learn to bake an Ethiopian staple food called injera, a type of foam-textured pancake that comes in three different colors: white, brown, and red. The dough for Injera is fermented for three days before it is cooked, hence the texture and a slightly sour taste. Side by side you engage in cooking the popular Ethiopian stew known as Shiro wot (spicy puréed chickpeas). Then after, you will make a coffee with freshly roasted coffee beans with the help of your host.
