Day 1
Depart Addis Ababa early for a scenic 4-hour drive to Awash National Park. After check-in and lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive spotting gazelles, oryx, warthogs, and baboons. Visit the spectacular Awash Falls for sunset views and relax at your lodge.
Day 2
Begin with a sunrise safari to spot more wildlife such as kudu, waterbuck, and diverse birdlife. After breakfast, explore the park’s gorges and hot springs for a rejuvenating soak. In the afternoon, take a guided walk or another game drive to see animals gathering by the river before a campfire dinner under the stars.
Day 3
Visit a nearby Afar village to experience their rich culture and traditions, then enjoy a final scenic drive through the park for last-minute wildlife viewing. After lunch, depart for Addis Ababa, arriving by late afternoon.
