Stroll along the most prestigious and famous street in the Dolomites, the pedestrian area of Corso Italia. Enjoy some free time for a walk or a coffee in this charming and renowned town. Next, head to Lake Braies, the largest lake in the Dolomites and among the most beautiful in Italy, where you can take a walk around the lake or simply sit and relax by the shore while admiring the magnificent scenery. Enjoy an optional walk around the lake (trekking distance 3.5 km/2.1 miles) or rent a beautiful wooden rowboat (45 minutes) to take some photos of the stunning panorama and the turquoise lake. Lake Braies is always accessible, even in winter (from late December to late March, the lake is completely frozen). The total stopover will be 1.5 hours (April to November) and 1 hour (December to March).
