After lunch, continue the scenic drive to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area. On arrival, head straight to the iconic Top of the Falls, where the Nile dramatically squeezes through a narrow 7-meter gorge and plunges thunderously into the Devil’s Cauldron below — a breathtaking sight and a perfect photo opportunity. Later, drive to your lodge inside or near the park, check in, and relax for the evening.

Day 4: Sunrise Game Drive, Boat Safari & Sunset Wildlife Viewing in Murchison Falls National Park

Begin your day with an early morning game drive across the northern savannah plains of Murchison Falls National Park. This is the best time to catch predators still on the move and grazing animals at their most active. Expect to encounter majestic elephants, graceful giraffes, prides of lions, elusive leopards, large buffalo herds, oribis, Uganda kobs, and an abundance of birdlife. After the game drive, return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and some relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on a scenic boat safari along the Victoria Nile heading upstream to the base of Murchison Falls. As the boat cruises past pods of hippos and basking crocodiles, you’ll have the chance to see more wildlife gathered along the riverbanks. Entebbe

Your driver guide will pick you after breakfast for a short game drive before exiting the park. Today you drive back to Kampala or Entebbe. You will drive out of the park and stop over at the Equator monument for lunch, souvenirs and photo sessions in both the north and southern hemispheres. Depending on your flight time, you will be taken direct to the airport or to any drop off point of your interest. In case you need to spend a night in Entebbe or Kampala, please let us know so that we can book you a hotel on this day at an extra cost though.
