Day 1: DAY 1: ST. POLYCARP AND SMRYNA

Izmir

We meet you at the Izmir Airport at around 08:00 - 08:30 or pick you up from your centrally located Hotels in Izmir or Kusadasi Town(Please check the location of your Hotel and contact us if it is in the pick-up zone). Then we start the first day of our 6 Days - Seven Churches Tour. Visit the Church of St. POLYCARP which is the oldest church in ancient Smyrna, it symbolized the community of the Seven Churches of the Apocalypse. Then visit Alexander the Great’s “Velvet Castle” overlooking the bay of Izmir and the Agora of the Ancient Smyrna. At the end of the day, we will transfer you to your Hotel and overnight stay in Izmir City. . Note: St. Polycarp church can be closed for some days. On this case, we will see it from outside and provide you the information of the importance.

Day 2: DAY 2: PERGAMUM, AKROPOLIS & ASKLEPIOS

Day 3: DAY 3: SARDES – PHILADELPHIA – PAMUKKALE

After the breakfast at the Hotel, departure around 08:00 - 08:30 and drive to Sardes, the ancient capital of the Lydians and visit the Church of Sardes. Continue to Alasehir where the ancient Philadelphia Church is located. Walk the streets of Philadelphia, then proceed to Pamukkale, the white “Cotton Castle” with its lime cascades of the Roman spa. See the ancient city of Hierapolis. The Martyrium of St. Philip the Apostle is here. Enjoy a leisurely bath in the hot spring pool of your hotel and stay overnight in Pamukkale Town.

Day 4: DAY 4: LAODICEA – APHRODISIAS – KUSADASI

Then drive to Kusadasi and stay overnight.

Day 5: DAY 5: EPHESUS - HOUSE OF VIRGIN MARY - BASILICA OF SAINT JOHN
