Know before you book

  • When booking your flight from Lima to Cusco, it must be in the morning. Arrival by noon is too late.
  • You need to send all the passengers names, numbers of passaports, date of birth and nationality, otherwise the tour is not confirmed.
  • You will receive confirmation of your exact tour departure time when you call to confirm your reservation.

What you can expect

Day 1: Welcome to Lima and Larco Museum: In the afternoon, explore Lima, starting with a visit to the Miraflores district and the Parque del Beso, offering a view of Lima Bay. Then, head to the UNESCO-listed historical downtown, passing by the Huaca Pucllana pyramid. At Plaza Mayor, visit the Cathedral (where Francisco Pizarro is buried) and the Convent of Santo Domingo, which houses the remains of saints and a historical library. Finish the day at the Larco Museum, showcasing ancient Peruvian cultures, including gold artifacts, textiles, and erotic pottery.

Day 2: Cusco, Capital of the Inca Empire: Arrive in Cusco, transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, visit San Cristóbal Square for panoramic views of the city. Explore the San Pedro Market and visit the Qorikancha Temple, known for its golden walls. Stroll through San Blas, the artisan district, and pass by the Inca Roca Palace on Hatun Rumiyoc Street.

Day 3: Sacsayhuamán Archaeological Park: In the morning, visit Sacsayhuamán, a vast citadel with massive stone structures. Then, head to the Inca shrine of Q’enqo, with its sacrificial altar, and the Puca Pucará lookout. End the day at Tambomachay, an important site related to the Andean worldview. Free afternoon to explore more of Cusco.

Day 4: Sacred Valley – Chinchero, Moray, and Ollantaytambo: Visit the village of Chinchero, famous for its colorful textiles and Inca weaving techniques. Continue to Moray, a circular agricultural site. After lunch, visit Ollantaytambo, the last living Inca village, and explore the Temple of the Ten Windows and Sun Temple. End the day with panoramic views of Ollantaytambo.

Day 5: Machu Picchu, the Lost City: Visit Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Travel by train to Ollantaytambo station, then take a bus to the site. Explore the ancient terraces, staircases, and ceremonial areas of Machu Picchu. After lunch, return by train to Cusco.

Day 6: Farewell:After breakfast, transfer to Cusco airport for your departure.
