Know before you book

    • Public transportation options are available nearby
    • Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
    • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
    • Important route information: This experience is organized only for travelers staying in Cancun, Costa Mujeres, Puerto Morelos, and other nearby northern areas of Quintana Roo, according to the pickup zones listed for this product. Guests staying farther south, including Playa del Carmen, the Riviera Maya, or Tulum, may also reserve the tour. However, when the pickup is located in these southern areas, the itinerary must be adjusted for logistical reasons. The standard route includes Playa del Carmen as the final stop before returning to the northern part of the state. Since travelers from the southern area follow a different transportation route, the Playa del Carmen visit cannot be included for those reservations. For this reason, bookings with pickup in Playa del Carmen, the Riviera Maya, or Tulum will operate with a modified schedule that includes Tulum, Coba, the cenote, and lunch, but does not include the stop at Playa del Carmen’s Fifth Avenue. By booking from any of these southern areas, travelers accept this itinerary change in advance. The removal of the Playa del Carmen stop under this route adjustment does not create eligibility for compensation, partial refund, full refund, credit, or any other reimbursement.
    • Transporting luggage is subject to availability, you must ask if there is availability in your transportation or write it in special requests. You can take the following with you without prior notice: hand luggage, backpacks, personal items. Larger luggage must have prior notice to accommodate it. The extra cost to transport luggage varies depending on dimensions.
    • For safety and security reasons, guests may only return to the vehicle when the guide or staff announces the official boarding time. Travelers are not permitted to enter the bus or minibus early, or remain inside while the rest of the group is away. This rule is in place because personal items from other guests may be stored inside the vehicle, and access must be controlled to help protect everyone’s belongings.
    • Buses, minibuses, vehicles, and seats are assigned by the operations team according to availability and the organization required for that day’s route. Guests cannot choose or request a specific vehicle or seat through the booking platform, directly with staff, or at the pickup location. Our team will always try to make the ride as comfortable as possible, but exact seats, spaces, or vehicles cannot be blocked, held, or guaranteed.
    • If you are traveling with relatives, friends, or another group that made a separate reservation, please let us know before the tour date so we can check whether it may be possible for everyone to travel together. When all travelers are picked up from the same accommodation, we will make an effort to coordinate it, but it is still not guaranteed. If the pickups are in the same city but at different hotels, we may try to arrange it, although traveling together cannot be assured. If the reservations begin in different cities, this request cannot be coordinated.
    • Pickup service is only available in the cities and zones listed in the Transportation section of this product. Travelers cannot meet the group directly at Chichen Itza, at another attraction included in the itinerary, or at any location outside the authorized pickup areas. For example, joining the tour at Chichen Itza after arriving in your own vehicle is not allowed. However, pickup from a hotel located within the approved service area, such as Moon Palace Resort, may be possible depending on the listed coverage. To keep the tour properly organized and ensure safe communication with all guests, every traveler must meet our team in the morning at the assigned pickup point, board our transportation, and complete the required check-in process before the experience starts.
    • If your reservation does not yet show a confirmed hotel or meeting point, you must send this information to our team no later than the day before the tour. From Monday to Saturday, the deadline is 21:50 hrs, GMT-5. On Sundays, the deadline is 8:00 PM, GMT-5. You may provide the information through any available contact channel. After the deadline has passed, same-day or last-minute pickup arrangements can no longer be processed. If we do not receive the required hotel or meeting point information on time, the reservation will be automatically moved to the next available date. This automatic date change has no extra cost, fee, or penalty. However, once the booking has been rescheduled for this reason, it will no longer be eligible for a refund.
    • The durations shown in the itinerary represent the complete time assigned to each section of the experience. These times may include driving between locations, the visit itself, activity time, boarding, organization, and the time required to continue the route or return. They should not be understood as the exact time spent only inside each attraction. Please refer to the itinerary for the approximate timing of the full experience.
    • Our team works to keep the tour as close as possible to the planned schedule. However, the timing also depends on guests being ready at the assigned pickup time and returning promptly at each stop. Traffic, road conditions, and other route factors may also affect the day and are outside our control. Please follow the meeting times given by the guide and respect the time assigned at every location. Even a very short delay can accumulate during the day and affect the overall operation of the tour.
    • The box lunch included with this experience is a fixed option served as part of the standard meal arrangement. It cannot be changed or adjusted for special diets, food restrictions, allergies, or personal preferences.
    • The included lunch is served as a regional Mexican buffet. Travelers may choose from the food options available at the buffet. Vegetarian options are offered, but the buffet is not currently adaptable for other specific dietary requirements.

Activity itinerary

Cancun

  • 3h
The day begins with pickup from your hotel or assigned meeting point. Once the group has boarded, transportation will depart toward the archaeological region of Tulum and Coba. The first part of the journey takes approximately 2.5 hours, giving travelers time to settle in before a day that combines ancient Maya cities, jungle ruins, cenote waters, regional food, and time in Playa del Carmen.

Zona Arqueologica De Tulum

  • 3h
The first main visit takes place in Tulum, one of the most scenic Maya archaeological sites in the Mexican Caribbean. Built above the coastline, this ancient city offers a striking combination of stone structures, cultural history, and views of the turquoise sea. During the visit, a bilingual guide will share information about the importance of the site, the people who lived there, their way of life, and some of the theories connected to the decline of ancient Maya cities. The visit lasts approximately 90 minutes. After exploring Tulum, the group will continue by bus toward Coba. The transfer between both archaeological areas takes approximately 1 hour.

Zona Arqueologica De Tulum

  • 3h
Before arriving at Coba, travelers will stop for a buffet lunch at a nearby restaurant. This meal offers regional dishes and traditional Mexican flavors, with approximately 1 hour assigned for lunch. The route then continues to the archaeological site of Coba, a Maya city surrounded by dense jungle vegetation. This location is known for its impressive ruins, natural surroundings, and one of the tallest pyramids in the Yucatan Peninsula. During the visit, the guide will explain the relevance of the site, its discovery, and the relationship between the ancient structures and the jungle that surrounds them. Travelers will have approximately 1 hour to explore this remarkable archaeological area. After the Coba visit, the group will continue toward the cenote area. The transfer takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Caverna Muul ichi Ts'ono'ot

  • 2h
The next part of the day takes travelers to Cenote Muul Ichi Ts’ono’ot, a natural freshwater formation found in the limestone landscapes of the Yucatan Peninsula. For the ancient Maya, cenotes were sacred places connected to nature, water, and spiritual meaning. Here, guests will have time to swim, cool off, and enjoy the refreshing atmosphere of the cavern cenote after visiting the archaeological sites. Following the cenote experience, travelers will continue the route toward Playa del Carmen. The drive takes approximately 45 minutes.

Playa del Carmen

  • 1h
The final visit takes place at Playa del Carmen’s famous Fifth Avenue, one of the most active pedestrian areas in the Riviera Maya. Travelers will have approximately 45 minutes to explore the street, enjoy its lively atmosphere, browse stores, take photos, or find a place for dinner. This stop adds a more urban and energetic ending to a day focused on Maya history, nature, and regional culture.

Cancun

  • 2h
After the free time in Playa del Carmen, the guide will confirm the meeting point and boarding time for the return trip. Once all travelers are back on the vehicle, transportation will begin the journey toward Cancun and the Riviera Maya. The return drive takes approximately 2 hours. This final stretch offers time to rest after a full day of archaeological visits, cenote swimming, local food, and time on Fifth Avenue.
