Explore the delights of Yangon during a four day stay in the famous Burmese city, where you can take in the sights, explore local life and gain an insight into the history and culture of the largest city in the country.

DAY 1: ARRIVE YANGON - CITY TOUR (L/D)

Upon arrival, welcome by local guide and transfer to hotel for check-in. Afternoon, begin a 2.5 hour walking tour through central Yangon. Starting at Yangon’s Heritage Trust Office on Lower Pansodan Road and Highlights include City Hall, the High Court and the former Burma Railways Company – one of Yangon’s oldest administrative buildings. Overnight in Yangon.

DAY 2: YANGON SIGHTSEEING & SHOPPING (B/L/D)

Morning, visit Sule, City Hall, and the High Court, Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, Kandawgyi Lake and Strand jetty to witness the daily life of the local people and Yangon River. Free time for shopping at the Bogyoke market (formerly “Scott market”). Continue to Shwedagon Pagoda the most revered Buddhist temple in Myanmar. Overnight in Yangon.

DAY 3: YANGON – BAGO – YANGON (B/L/D)

Morning drive to Bago (80 km, one hours driving) and visit to Kyaikkhat Wyne Monestery for offering food to thousand monks and visit Bago Market.

Afternoon, visit to Shwethalyaung Reclining Buddha (55 meters long), Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Chinese Kwanyin Temple and Kanbawzathardi Palace of King Bayinnaung. Transfer back to Yangon, en-route visit to White Elephant and Marble sitting Buddha. Overnight in Yangon.

DAY 4: YANGON DEPARTURE (B)

Free at leisure until the local tour guide pick up and transfer to the airport for the departure flight!
